Success Story

Thoughts of Faith is a non-profit organization that has been operating 2 coaches in the Ukraine since 1992. They have one coach that is a Pediatric Dental Unit and one coach that is a General Heath Screening Unit.  The quality and durability has proven to be the most economical solution to our mission. These coaches have been in continuous operation for over 13 years. Much of the time these coaches have been operating has been on unimproved roads and even no roads. That is a remarkable testament to the rugged durability and dependability of the coaches supplied by Custom Coaches International. Any lesser coach would have had to be replaced years ago and been much less mission capable. The results would have been fewer people having access to health care and higher costs.

These coaches have given Thoughts of Faith the opportunity to provide the first pain free dentistry in the Ukraine. Through thorough patient education and the experiences of the patients, Thoughts of Faith has greatly improve access and the willingness to use proper dental care throughout the country. The Pediatric Dental Coach  also introduced fluoride treatments to the country. When these coaches schedule a visit, they get an enormous amount of attention from the local population. With the ability to be self contained dental units and extremely effective teaching platforms, these coaches have dramatically improved dental care throughout the country. During an average year, one coach can treat over 4,000 dental patients and provide education to tens of thousands more people.

Thoughts of Faith treats over 4,500 medical patients per year in their General Health Screening Unit.  They have found that less than 2% of the children they see as patients are considered to be in good health. They are able to treat many and refer others to proper facilities nearby. They have been able to improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of people through their program.  Every moment of down time is precious time that they can't help these children.
